How to remove your account and what happens to your data

This page explains how to delete your Gaumitra account, operated by IMPACTGRID TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U88900MH2025PTC454485, GSTIN 27AAICI3670B1ZQ), 402, Giri Heaven CHS, Next to GiriRaj Tower, Hariniwas Circle, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Naupada, Thane, Maharashtra 400602.
1. Delete from inside the app
Open the Gaumitra app or web app, sign in, go to My Plans, scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. The deletion takes effect immediately — there is no waiting period and no need to contact us.
2. Delete by email
If you cannot sign in, write to support@gaumitra.app from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you used to order. We will verify that the request is genuinely yours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
Your name, mobile number, email address, postal address, age, and any linked Google account are permanently erased. Your login sessions are destroyed, so you are signed out everywhere. If you have never completed a paid order, your account record is removed entirely.
4. What we must keep, and why
If you have completed a paid order, we are required by Indian tax law to retain the GST invoice for that transaction, along with the order record it belongs to. A GST invoice must legally show the name of the person it was issued to, so your name remains on those invoices. Nothing else does: your mobile number, email address, postal address, age and any linked Google account are erased, and your account is marked deleted. You can no longer sign in, and we hold no way to contact you.
This retention is permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which allows personal data to be kept where another law requires it.
5. Effect of deletion
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will stop receiving order updates, delivery notifications and photo proof. Any active recurring plan is cancelled and will not be charged again. Deliveries that have already been paid for will still be completed at the goshala, since the fodder has been purchased for the cows.
